"THE BACHELOR: THE FINAL COUNTDOWN"

Oh the ladies were back (well some of our fav's and not so fav's that is) and were looking lovely as ever this week for 'The Bachelor: The Ladies Tell All' to a live audience (of what else?...more women).

It was interesting to see them all together in one room (and being civil!) especially with the whole cattiness between (you're goin' down) 'Megan' and (drama queen) 'Erica', (you better give me a rose or I'll be pissed) 'Lauren', and (oh so material girl) 'Natalie'. Not so surprising there was 'Stephanie' who radiated nothing but class (Jason himself even complimented her) and whose positive outlook on her search finding Prince Charming should be infectious to many people out there who have fallen in their own dating funk.

Our very own Canuck girl 'Jillian' was indeed a crowd favourite and got an enormously warm welcome from the audience when put on the hot seat with host Chris Harrison. Highlights of their dates (especially the steamy 'hot-tub' scene in New Zealand that had our girl even blushing) were recapped and although it was the heartfelt emotion of final rose ceremony that had her graceful exit. It clearly showed that moment still had a profound affect on her. She said she would return as 'The Bachelorette' if asked (hint-hint for next season). But my favourite quote of the night when asked about her journey on the bachelor was said by our Canuck girl. "You have to slay a couple of dragons before you can find your prince." So true Jillian, so true!

Aside from some bloopers (J's runaway horse, the funny bath jet noise reminiscent of some other bodily function, popping umbrella's and others) that ended up on the editing floor were kind of funny. After all this is reality tv and anything that's 'real' is likely to happen.

We also took a better look at 'Melissa' and 'Molly' but right there waiting in the wings it looks like 'DeAnna' will be there just in time to make J's decision a little harder. He is seen crying and openly admits he's fallen in love with two women at the same time. Bummer! People can't even get one person to fall in love with them let alone two! I know, I know the circumstances are unusual to say the least but it's not over until both ladies meet Jason's family (and his son Ty).

Truthfully, I'm not really into either of the two ladies (and this has nothing to do with the fact that 'Jillian' was given her walking papers last week either). I don't find Melissa ready to make that commitment (not to mention that of a stepmother to Ty). I find she lacks the maturity and the life experience to take their relationship any further. Jason's family actually mentions this when they meet her (and their comments on her pulling another DeAnna). Being a wife and mother entails more than just 'playing house'. Molly on the other hand, I find to be more of a selfish nature. Please don't get me wrong. I just find her to be well, too independent for Jason and tying her down with an already instant family might not be something she really wants at least not just yet. And what's with Jason's constant referral to her eyes. They're huge! End of story.

Next week we'll learn who it is. Finally! But I'm sure not with more emotionally dramatic twists and turns that we can't handle! Are we ready? You darn tootin' bet we are! I can't wait to see the infamous 'After Rose Ceremony' since it's not going to be open to a live audience. What's up with that? We'll have to wait and see Bachelor fans! We'll have to wait and see!
